| Flash parts in a web site look cool... BUT! And that's a BIG BUT! The one thing that we tell all of our clients "Search Engines can't read Flash!". Knowing that, how are the search engines going to read the web page for content? They won't, they'll read the meta tags and that's it.
Also, most of the users are still looking at the internet on dial up... eek! So, knowing that, we also know that those people probably aren't that Sauvé in computer land so downloading a flash component in order for them to view flash is more than likely out of the question. Sure Flash is cool, but it's a pain in the arse. The third and biggest complaint I have is that my clients can't update a Flash site. I |
